Sneak peek at Sferra's fall line

Fall is all about texture — crunchy leaves, crisp mornings, the soft wool of a sweater. So it's no wonder Sferra's fall line features a variety of prints, textures and fabrics, all manufactured in Italy to Sferra's meticulous standards.

The company was founded in Italy in 1891, when Gennaro Sferra first set foot on the cross-Atlantic steamer which would carry him to America. It was a family history of craftsmanship that enabled him to sell the exquisite handmade lace that would become his future. His son, Albert, also revolutionized the linen industry thanks to his recognition that long-staple cotton was softer and smoother than other varieties, eventually landing the brand in such places as the in-flight bedding for Pope John Paul II, the elegant table linens of Reagan-era state dinners, and the de rigeur bedding found in celebrity linen closets.
Fast forward to today: Sferra is keeping up with its 125-year tradition with a fall collection that's both modern and classic, and exquisitely textured.

Here's a sneak peek at some of our favorite collections from Sferra's fall line:

Felino

Renowned fashion designer Jenna Lyons famously said "As far as I'm concerned, leopard is a neutral."

Well, Felino is what neutral animal print dreams are made of. This enchanting sateen jacquard is elegantly rendered with textural grandeur. The reversible duvet cover and shams feature tiger print on one side and leopard print on the other.

Perfect for the master bedroom (or any bed you're ready to freshen up by breaking out of the all-white rut), this collection will add visual interest without overpowering your space.

Gaeta

Simple yet elegant, Gaeta is a piece-dyed cotton matelassé designed with all all-over braided chain motif. The supple drape and neutral color palette make Gaeta a perfect layer to complement any solid-colored bedding covers.

The shams and coverlet come in four beautiful neutrals to match any decor.

Tronto

Timeless yet still fresh, plaid has been in style for hundreds of years. And for good reason. The mix of vertical and horizontal lines add visual interest without distracting the eye.

In Sferra's most recent take on the classic print, Tronto is designed with an ivory and slate-toned woven plaid pattern. The stylized stripe lines are adorned with exquisitely thin, diagonal threads that add a tailored finish to the collection.

Tronto magnificently embodies modern chic and sophistication — we could see it in a young man's bedroom as he graduates from a superhero print to something more grown-up, or in a cozy and welcoming guest room your friends and family will want to visit again and again.

Melba

A true homage to nature, Melba is reminiscent of the wondrous linear patterns formed on our landscape over time.

This new design features organic lines rendered on smooth sateen jacquard. The subtle striations of taupe and grey tones intertwine to create an understated look of grandeur and depth. It would be perfect for a beach house or mountain chalet to compliment the beauty of the natural surroundings.

Blumi

If you'd love to give a nod to the changing season without being too cliché, Blumi captures the ambient aura of fall with a lush foliage pattern.

Layered with intricate golden leaves, the multi-colored design creates depth and textural elegance while inspiring feelings of calm and serenity.
